The POWERtalk International Website is the
members’ information resource centre. It has everything you would want to
know about our organisation as well as all training material free to
download for all paying members.
The Website Committee and the Webmaster have been hard at
work making the website more user-friendly for our members. Education
Features now have their own category in the Resource Centre. At the top
of the list is an Index with all available features in groups. When
you have found what you want go to the sub-category and open the file.

Speech Contest
As Club Speech Contests are getting under way, clubs are
reminded to use the current POWERtalk International Speech Contest
Rules and forms which have in the footer the date August 2007.
The rules have been recently edited and should therefore be read
carefully. All current documents can be found on the POWERtalk
Website www.powertalkinternational.com in Resource Centre ► Speech Contest.

Writing Contest
For those members in the Southern Hemisphere who are taking a summer
break, don’t forget about the Writing Contest – entries are due in on
March 1 2008. You could map out your story or poem as you relax on the
beach. For those shivering in a Northern Hemisphere winter now is the time
to write as you gather round the fire. Warm up your mind as well as your
body.
Convention 2009
July 18-25 2009 is the date of the "Serenade of the
Seas Convention Cruise".
The fourth edition of the Convention 2009 Newsletter
has been posted on the Website. Under the new editor Chris Janda, the
newsletter is full of information about Bookings, Travel Visa requirements
and a request for plenary speakers.
